I
created this website when
I began my crusade to "Keep God Alive in America"
in 2004. Back then it was small and was seen primarily in the
United States. The site grew to 200+ pages and the Internet became
global. Now It has gotten numerous visits from around the world daily totaling over
900,000 page views.
I don't want to be
misunderstood. I
believe that people throughout the world love their
Countries
and their Gods just as much as I do mine!
I
am only trying to express that:
-
I
feel very fortunate to be an American,
-
where
I have the freedom to live as I choose,
-
where
I have a constitution to protect this freedom,
-
while
paying respect to those that make/made this possible;
-
and
to say, "If it were up to me, GOD has a home here
forever".
With the
Lord's help, may this sentiment sweep over our nation and
wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be
called "One
Nation Under GOD."
There
is much controversy about God's role in the United States.
I feel, if we expect Him to make room for us,
then we need to do the same.
God
is being taken out of our classrooms, out of our history books.
out of our courtrooms, out of Congress, the Supreme Court,
and even out of the White House.
It is said that between
80-90% of Americans believe in God in one form or another.
Yet we set back and do nothing. Will we continue to feel
God’s love or suffer His wrath as so many great nations
have done in the past? It is our
choice!!!
We
live in the greatest nation ever created! Yet we are letting it be destroyed from within, as
many nations have before us. Our morals are eroding at an
ever increasing rate. What kind of legacy is that to
leave to our children? We are so worried about being
destroyed by terrorists, but all the while we are destroying
ourselves from within.
We
have to quit going along with the crowd because it is cool,
politically correct, or are just afraid of offending
someone.
We
all
need to
stop judging each other and respect each other's
opinions, life styles, race, customs and beliefs. To unite and take a stand for our common
goals. (United
We Stand) To
stop
bickering amongst
ourselves and keep worrying about our own self interests, or we will keep losing
all of our freedoms until there is
none left. Unfortunately, that may be sooner than you think.
Agree
to disagree; isn’t that what America’s all about? Aren't
we supposed to have the freedom to live as we choose?
If
we lose our religious freedoms what will we lose next? Will
it be our freedom of speech, our right to privacy, our
family structure, our freedom to protect ourselves, our
right of inheritance, or our
right to own property? Unfortunately, all of those things
are already in danger too!
Many
people blame do-good Christians for their declining
freedoms. But, have they really done their homework, or are
they just going along with the crowd? Our forefathers built
our entire political structure on Christianity. It’s the
glue that holds us together.
Why
do you lock your car? Are you afraid that a Christian will
steal it so that he can go to church?
Why
do you lock your home? Are you afraid that a Christian will
break in to leave a Bible in the nightstand?
Why
are you afraid to go out alone at night? Are you
afraid that a Christian might jump out from the darkness to
read you the gospel?
When
you consider the alternative the Theory of Evolution,
religion doesn't sound bad at all. The theory is based
on natural selection or survival of the fittest. Love,
trust, honesty, life, morals, etc. mean absolutely
nothing. The universe doesn't care! Surviving is
the only thing that matters. Is that what we really
want? Do you want to live in constant fear like so
many other countries do? Don't you want your life to mean something?
I'd
rather live by the Ten Commandments even if there isn't a
God, than to revert back to merely surviving in a corrupt
and dangerous world! Unfortunately, that seems to be
the path that we are on!
Our
country is slipping away. It needs our help! We need to learn from history before
we are doomed to relive it! Read the Bible and old unedited
history books, the older, the better. (Winston
Churchill said that the further you look into the past, the
further you can see into the future.)
One
day while eating Thanksgiving dinner, I asked my young
grandson what Thanksgiving represents. Without
hesitation he proudly said, "It is celebrated to give
thanks for the Indians that fed the Pilgrims". I
had a good laugh until he brought me his textbook.
Don’t rely solely on
other’s interpretations. Ask your pastors, and
representatives to address the
important issues. Teach your children respect. Pray for our
country, our leaders, our teachers and our soldiers. Let your congressmen
know how you feel.
In
a speech given in Springfield, IL on Jan. 27, 1838,
Abraham Lincoln
said, "If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be
its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must
live through all time, or die by suicide."
We
will never all agree on any issue. So, why do we push our
beliefs on others. It doesn't matter if we lean to the left
or lean to the right, we need to learn to compromise, get
along and live together as one, or all perish.
