Do Animals go to Heaven?

The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; - 1 Cor.15:35-42

And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!" - Rev. 5:13

I have been told otherwise on numerous occasions. However, I personally refuse to believe that Heaven doesn't have room for for animals too!

I believe that pets are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.
